Bourbon-l’Archambault. This is the resumption at FJEP. Chaired by Noëlle Martinet, the annual general assembly of the FJEP (Youth and Popular Education Foyer) of Bourbon, in the presence of Mayor Ludovic Chaput, provided the opportunity to discuss the numerous activities deployed throughout the year.
Around sixty members practice badminton with Gilles Canon, maintenance gymnastics (rather lower), and gentle gymnastics with Élise Villatte, traditional dances with Andrée Chaput and Nicole Chaussard, aquagym at the Thermes, painting and creative activities with Monique Giraud, and the hiking organized by the president once a month. This last activity frequently gives everyone the opportunity to discover a site, a region during festive days, but also to practice carpooling. The latest outings: a weekend in Creuse, the discovery of Vernusse, Meaulne – Ainay-le-Vieil.
The assembly returned to the organization of the recent “Assoc’ en fête” forum. Everyone’s wish has been confirmed: an identity outfit with a logo..
On the financial side, Élise Villatte detailed the situation at the end of August, slightly surplus, attested by Paulette Souiller, who will now be assisted by Muriel Collin. As a result, no increase in the annual contribution (€20 for young people, €38 for adults).
Christiane Chapelet, Élise Villatte, Gilles Canon were reappointed to the position of administrator.
A banquet in March, a picnic in May, an outing to Saint-Léon in June are planned.
Meetings: Tuesday at 7:30 p.m., sports hall (badminton); Wednesday at 9:30 a.m., gallery (gentle gym); Tuesday at 8 p.m., gallery (trad dance); Friday at 2 p.m., in the club room, under the gallery (creative workshops).
According to the mayor, the sports maintenance activity could benefit from the premises of the multidisciplinary health center currently under construction.
