Cleveland Browns’ Amari Cooper Questionable for Monday Night Game Against Steelers Due to Groin Injury

BEREA, Ohio — Cleveland Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper “aggravated” his groin in practice Saturday and is now labeled as questionable for the Monday Night NFL game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Browns coach Kevin Stefanski said the injury occurred late in Saturday’s practice and Cooper had to go inside the facility with the team of therapists before practice ended. .

“We’ll see how he feels over the next 48 hours,” Stefanski said.

Cooper underwent core muscle surgery this offseason after playing the second half of last season with a hip injury. He still led the Browns with 78 receptions and 1,160 passing yards, in addition to adding nine touchdowns and playing every game.

Last weekend, Cooper caught three passes for 37 yards in the Browns’ 24-3 win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

“If we have to adjust, we will,” Stefanski added.
