Good level of participation, organization and play in this meeting that brings together athletes belonging to 51 clubs from all over Spain this weekend.
The “Mireia Belmonte” Municipal Pavilion of our town becomes the epicenter of the best Spanish badminton this Saturday and Sunday by hosting in its modern facilities the Senior National Master of this sporting discipline organized by the Higher Sports Council and the Spanish and Regional Federations of Murcia of this sporting discipline and the Las Torres Badminton Club and with the collaboration of our popular Department of Sports.
This match, a scoring event for the National Badminton Ranking and the eighth of its kind that takes place in Las Torres de Cotillas, is made up of almost 300 matches to be played by players distributed in an age range between 30 and 70 years old. Likewise, this Senior Master brings together around twenty athletes from India, the United Kingdom, France, Germany and Denmark.
In short, a championship that is home to a town like ours that has a large number of followers as well as a notable pool of badminton athletes who have garnered and continue to garner an outstanding medal table and roster of regional, national and international successes.
From here all the support and congratulations for making Torreño badminton and national competitions like the one we are attending this weekend a symbol of quality, participatory sport that transcends borders and reaps countless triumphs and the highest achievements.
