The Villarrasa town hall, in collaboration with the Huelva Provincial Council, has organized a provincial clay pigeon shooting day in the town for next August 20 with important and attractive prizes for the participants. The day before, on August 19, there will also be a provincial training session for clay pigeon shooting. Both runs will take place at the shooting range of the farm next to the fairgrounds.
The mayor of Villarrasa and provincial representative of Caza, Arturo Alpresatogether with the councilor for Celebrations of the Villarrasa town hall, Stephanie Martinhave presented these conferences with which “they want to bet, strengthen and value a sector, such as hunting, which has a great tradition in the province of Huelva and which contributes so much to the provincial economy”.
Alpresa has ensured that “there is great interest in them not only by the people of the town, but from other municipalities in the region and even from the Huelva capital.” The mayor of Villarrasa and provincial deputy stated that “with our corporation the hunting activity It will be maximized and given the importance it deserves in the rural world. An example of this is that for the first time there is a service in the Diputación dedicated to hunting, which will be endowed with a budget, and which will look after the interests of hunters and game producers”.
At the same time, he has indicated that “we will protect and promote sports shooting activities, clay pigeon shooting, pigeon shooting, archery, etc. and we will look for the best allies we can have, the hunting societies to have the territory and the Andalusian Federation of Hunting to draw up a common strategy in terms of hunting and shooting”.
For the clay pigeon shooting day registrations will be 18 euros plus 7 euros for the series of dishes, and several categories have been arranged such as locals, ladies, veterans and juniors. There will be prizes for the top twenty finishers, as well as for the top ten local shooters.
As regards the provincial clay pigeon shooting training day, inscriptions will cost 8 euros. From the first series on, any shooter who wants to can shoot as many times as he wants for 7 euros and take the best one for the first 18. The organization has provided prizes for the eighteen first classified.
