The construction of Royal Arena began in 2013 and finished in 2016. There have been a lot of sports events during the years in Royal Arena.
European Short Course Swimming Championships in 2017
Ice hockey’s IIHF World Championship in 2018
Men’s Handball World Championship in 2019.
The arena is also used for concerts or stand-up shows.
This year’s TotalEnergies BWF World Championships will be played on a maximum of four courts.
