The debate about who is the best point guard in history has been reopened by Stephen Curry…after he chose himself!
Throughout the 75 years of NBAthe point guard position has produced great talents: Curry himself, Earvin ‘Magic’ JohnsonOscar Robertson, Jerry West, John Stockton, Isiah Thomas or even Chris Paul and Steve Nash have been recurring names that have appeared in discussions when choosing the best game directors in history.
When asked about this question, Steph Curry was clear: «Yes. yes. do magic [Johnson] and I are the ones who are in that conversation?”, he told Gilbert Arenas.
Afterward, Agent Zero tried to make sense of the answer, explaining that every kid who grows up playing basketball wants to be like Curry.

“Obviously I have to respond this way,” Curry explained, before praising Magic. «The fact that I’m in that conversation…it’s a place I never thought I’d be.. We pick the best because it’s fun, we imagine playing against each other and that’s what basketball and sport is all about. So I put myself on my own team, I would pick myself for sure.”
The debate seems logical to center between the two. Throughout his career, Magic Johnson was a five-time champion, three-time MVP and three-time Finals MVP, 10-time All-NBA and 12-time All-Star, to name a few of his accomplishments. .
Curry has been a four-time champion. twice MVP, once Finals MVP, 9-time All-NBA and 9-time All-Star. However, like Magic, his impact goes beyond titles and accolades.
