MESA, Arizona._ The 2023 edition of the Mexican Baseball Fiesta, to be held in the Valle del Sol area, was announced this Thursday at a press conference held at the Visit Mesa offices, in which the media were informed communication and fans the details of this event.
In this fair, Algodoneros de Guasave will take part for the first time, and will be one of the four protagonists of this tournament, together with Naranjeros de Hermosillo, Águilas de Mexicali, Yaquis de Obregón.
Algodoneros will clash against Naranjeros and Águilas, in the two games they will have.
To witness this announcement, the press conference was attended by representatives of the Milwaukee Brewers and Chicago Cubs, who will host this event at American Family Fields in Phoenix and Sloan Park in Mesa.
Also present were Mike Feder and Francisco Gámez, founders of the Mexican Baseball Fiesta in the company of Juan Aguirre, general manager of Naranjeros, Juan Gabriel Castro, manager of the orange squad, Eduardo Meza, from Águilas de Mexicali, Frank Gámez, from the organizing committee of the Fiesta , as well as Phoenix District 5 Councilor Betty Guardado, who has been an important support in bringing this event to Maryvale.
