Murati, who turns 35 on Wednesday, was on the ball in the Bundesliga from 2006-2015 and for Swans Gmunden from 2016-2021. In 2016/17 he was employed by Leuven Bears in Belgium. In the past two seasons, the winger has worn the kit of BC Vienna. Murati made 42 appearances for the Austrian national team.

Olympics 2024 big goal

According to the broadcast, the association is tackling the “Mission Olympia 2024” with the 3×3 selection and the 1.94 meter tall newcomer. He hopes that he “can help achieve everything that we have yet to achieve,” Murati said. From the ÖBV point of view, he brings “the perfect conditions for 3×3”: “Strong thrower, extremely physical and above all equipped with a game intelligence that is second to none.”

According to 3×3 team boss Milan Isakov, Murati is “probably the most versatile player in Austria. Even if it doesn’t happen overnight, I am convinced that he will quickly fit in with his winning mentality.”
