MP Motorsport driver van’t Hoff was injured in a multi-car collision in heavy rain. The crash was not recorded on the race broadcast, but eyewitness videos appeared on social media showing van’t Hoff’s car swerving after the crash and being hit by another car at full speed. The victim was taken to the hospital, but his life could not be saved.
At the time of the disaster, van’t Hoff was in 19th place.
