The President of Paris 2024 also wished to reassure the representatives of the Olympic committees with regard to the recent searches carried out recently by the National Financial Prosecutor’s Office (PNF) at the headquarters of the OCOG, Solideo, the sports marketing agency Keneo as well as at the homes of Étienne Thobois (General Manager) and Édouard Donnelly (Executive Director of Operations), former shareholders of Keneo, who were both in the gallery.

Tony Estanguet insisted on Games which must be “responsible from an ethical point of view”. “We know that the image of the Games, the reputation of the Games, also depends on our ability to set up extremely fierce, robust procedures in terms of ethics. »

This is why, from the beginning, we have put in place procedures concerning all the awarding of contracts, all of our behavior, with the ethics committee. An ethics committee, chaired by Jean-Marc Sauvé who, for Estanguet, contributes to “the success of responsible gaming, from an ethical point of view and from a social point of view”.

The C1 2022 final, an “unfortunate incident”

The interministerial delegate for the Olympic and Paralympic Games Michel Cadot came to underline to the participants “the complete involvement of the State” also welcoming that “in a country sometimes a little turbulent like ours”, deadlines and budgets are respected. .
