Director Atsushi Kawahara of Saitama Sakae High School: “The key is the avant-garde.

– What is the current state of the team?

Each player has a small injury, but I think it’s going well in general. (- Lost to Kokushikan High School in the best 8 at the high school championship in March. After that, how did you get to this point?) Originally, that loss would be used as fuel in April, May, and June, with some special tasks and special menus. Maybe I should practice at , but there was always something to focus on, such as the expedition and the Kanto tournament, so I don’t really have anything special to talk about. That’s right. It’s been 3 months since I’ve been able to do the daily practice that I should do. I think the most important thing is that the players were able to reach this point safely without causing any serious injuries.

―― Speaking of Sakae Saitama, the selling point is that she is energetic. I heard that this generation has a relatively serious lineup of players, but how is the atmosphere ahead of summer?
