A little surprise on Saturday morning at Monza during the third free practice session, with the best time for the Peugeot 9X8 n°93. The French prototype, discreet on Friday during the first two sessions, finished the 60-minute session with a time of 1’35″878. The new BoP (Balance of Performance) set up for the Italian round, rather favorable to Peugeot, would it be bearing fruit, or are the other manufacturers hiding their game before qualifying?Answer at 15:45.
Ferrari n°50 finished very close to the Peugeot, only four hundredths, and it is the other 9X8, the n°94, which completes this official podium of EL3, at 22 hundredths. The first Toyota, the n°7, is only 8th at 1.52; the n°8 is 11th at 1.92. Cadillac places the n°2 in 5th place, 57 hundredths, ahead of the first Porsche, that of JOTA, at 63 hundredths. The Glickenhaus n°708, less in spirit than last year on this same track (it had signed the pole), finished 10th at 1.75.
