Ministry of Sport-Cnel agreement on work, grassroots sports and youth – Other Sports

An interinstitutional agreement was signed between the Minister for Sport and Youth, Andrea Abodi, and the President of the National Council of Economy and Labour, Renato Brunetta, thanks to which Cnel will guarantee consultancy and technical support, as well as analysis activities and elaboration of proposals also aimed at promoting legislative initiatives, on some fundamental issues of the government agenda and the political-institutional action of the Minister for Sport and Youth.


Priority will be ensured for monitoring the reform of sports work, through the participation and provision of technical-scientific support that Cnel will ensure to the Observatory dedicated to the study and evaluation of the impacts of the Reform, which will be set up shortly by the Minister for Sport and young people and the Ministry of Labor and Social Policies. As far as youth policies are concerned, the collaboration is aimed at studying and analyzing the reference generational contexts, with the aim of developing technical-legislative hypotheses that favor the offer of opportunities in the field of training, professional qualification and connection with the world of work.


“The agreement with Cnel – declared Minister Abodi – will allow us to capitalize on all the ability of this prestigious institution to study, analyze and propose, making available qualitative and quantitative elaborations that will make the tools we are called to more effective configure and offer to contextualize, substantiate and make government policies dedicated to Sport and Youth increasingly timely and effective”.


“It is a question of accompanying and supporting, through the skills and experience that Cnel has gained in the field as a house of intermediate bodies and representation of the world of work, one of the most important reforms in the field of labor law – underlines Professor Brunetta -, which constitutes the premise for ensuring adequate protection for a significant number of operators in the sector”.
