POGGIARDO – The event “Margin notes – art against discrimination” will be held in Poggiardo, in the Piazza Episcopo area on 4 and 5 August, organized by the association “Creabilmente” in collaboration with the local art school ” Nino Della Notte” – ISS “Don Tonino Bello” and other local associations.
The idea is of an event that imposes itself as a symbolic demonstration in the fight against all kinds of discrimination, through the various languages of art.
The program
August 4: Contest of murals on anti-discrimination themed panels; Judo exhibition by the “Kodokan – Poggiardo” school from 9 to 10 pm; street artists shows curated by Dario Cadei: Miss G (show on aerial structure with trapeze and circle), Mr Thomas (show of fakirism on glass and various fires), Tony Bellissimo (show of clown tightrope walker juggler), TramPuglia and Wobbly (stilt walkers parade with musical cart), free Salento pizzica stage by Kalimba Studio Dance – Poggiardo, dance corps performance of the “Cuban Puglia – Poggiardo” school, craft markets, live concert starting at 10.30 pm of “Li Strittuli – Salento folk music company
5 AUGUST: Best mural awarding; street artists shows curated by Dario Cadei: Manucircus (juggling, fireworks and acrobatics show), Bicibolle (soap bubble show), Duo Roja clown’s (acrobatic juggling and unicycle shows), corps de ballet performance from the “Asd dance For life by Antonella Verardi); Craft markets; starting at 10.30 pm parade and live concert on soundboard by “Cesare Dell’Anna and Girodibanda”.
