Feyenoord Fined Again by KNVB for Disorders in Championship Match against Go Ahead Eagles

Feyenoord has again received a fine from the KNVB. The football association is now punishing the Rotterdammers for ‘disorders’ during the championship match against Go Ahead Eagles.

In addition to a fine of 10,000 euros, Feyenoord must also draw up a plan of action to prevent disorder in the future. “This is due to disorder by supporters of Feyenoord at the Feyenoord – Go Ahead Eagles match played on May 14, 2023, namely: setting off a considerable amount of fireworks,” the KNVB writes on the official website.

Feyenoord previously received a yellow fine of 7,500 euros from the KNVB for setting off fireworks during the Classic in April, a fine of 7,500 euros for setting off fireworks during the home game against AZ in February, and a fine of 7,500 euros for the Classic in January, also because of the fireworks.
