– During a condominium dispute that took place in Rome, a 60-year-old resident of Ponte Galeria was attacked with kicks and punches and with a baseball bat and a wooden rolling pin. The victim died of the injuries sustained at the Gemelli Polyclinic. The three people accused of his death have been detained for concurrent murder. They are a 26-year-old Syrian and two 37- and 30-year-old Italians, all with previous records.
Another person was also injured in the attack which took place a few days ago. The carabinieri of the Rome Ostia company carried out the detention and, at the request of the Public Prosecutor of Rome, it was validated by the Court of Rome which ordered the measure of pre-trial detention in prison for all three. During the searches that followed at the home of one of the three, the military seized a baseball bat which is not excluded is the same one used during the dispute. (HANDLE).
