Daughter of Soccer Legend Samuel Eto’o Demands 90,000 Euros in Child Support

The Spanish publication “Diario de Sevilla” reports that Eto’s 22-year-old daughter Erika Do Rosario Nives wants to recover 90,000 euros from her father. According to the woman’s lawyer, Fernando Osuna, the soccer legend has not paid child support for five years.

Now Nivesa has demanded a year in prison for her father. Osuna justifies this on the basis of her client’s low income.

“Eto continues to ignore justice. His daughter’s financial situation is bad, but Samuel himself lives a luxurious life,” explained the lawyer.

The Cameroonian football legend has also previously been fined for not paying child support. It wasn’t Erika Do Rosario Nieves then. Eto’o was also tried for tax fraud and was given a 22-month suspended sentence in Spain.

During his time with Spanish giants Barcelona, ​​Eto’o avoided paying taxes. He admitted his guilt and later paid four million euros in unpaid taxes.

Eto’o is currently the president of the Cameroon Football Federation. As a footballer, he represented such titled clubs as “Barcelona”, “Inter Milan” and “Chelsea” of London.

Eto’o scored 56 goals in 118 games for the Cameroon national team.
