Breitenfelde (pm). This year the motto of the summer festival was “finally celebrate carefree again”! Over a hundred participants followed the invitation of department head Petra Oesterreich to the summer party in Breitenfelde.
Eight members were honored for their longstanding membership in Ju-Jutsu between 10 and 15 years, including Emma Jablonca for thirteen years of Ju-Jutsu, with a specially designed mug. If you want to become a “master”, practice early, Emma started this beautiful sport at the age of four and is still doing it. The summer festival was fun and games, with many exciting attractions set up on the lawn, a delicious buffet with grilled sausages and a nice get-together of trainers, members of the department, their parents and families. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful weather and celebrated the now traditional summer party together.
“Horst the Dummy” was also there for the first time, a new training device which now helps to practice realistic self-defence even more effectively. From November, the training for all training groups will be supplemented by the modern Israeli self-defense system Krav Maga. This system will make self-defense even more effective. Petra Oesterreich and Rüdiger Merten have registered for extensive training at a Krav Maga Academy to become licensed Krav Maga instructors. Martial arts in the Breitenfeld sports club means training at the highest level with motivated, licensed trainers and the most modern training equipment for young and old.
Training times (Ju-Jitsu): Tuesday: 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Bambini group; 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. beginners; Wednesday: 3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Beginners; 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Advanced; Thursday: 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Women/Girls SV Ju-Jutsu training; Thursday: 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. adults + young people aged 16 and over.Training times (Judo): Tuesday: 17:30 – 19:00 advanced; Wednesday: 3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Beginners.
