Baja California’s Judo Team Shines with Gold Medals at Conade Nationals

The 29th State team among the dozen metals had three golds, two silvers and seven bronzes

VILLAHERMOSA, Tabasco.- After three days of competition in the Conade Nationals, judo from Baja California will return home with twelve medals.

The Baja California delegation, led by Josan Fajer, among the dozen medals won three gold, two silver and seven bronze medals at Nace 1 in Parque Tabasco.

In the 2023 edition of the Conade Nationals, State 29 had as national champions Nohelia Hinojosa, -58 kilograms in Sub 15; Cesar Villavicencio, -90 Under 18; and Saúl Higareda, -90 Sub 21.

The national runners-up are Vania Madera, -53 kilograms Sub 15; and Miriam Silva, -57 Under 18.

And the bronze medalists are Alan Vázquez and Diego Pavón, in Sub 15; Valentina Cotry, Valeria Nieto, Julio Ávila and Kenay Vargas, in Sub 18; Ramón Ríos, in Sub 21.
