◆ The theme song is MACK JACK “Anthem”

In addition, the theme song for the broadcast has been decided to be MACK JACK “Anthem”.
MACK JACK is a four-member reggae group whose members are all former baseball players. “Anthem” sung by them is a number that encourages high school baseball players in Tokyo. It’s a song that can be called the “Anthem” of high school baseball!

On TOKYO MX, “Anthem” will be broadcast as the theme song for the East and West Tokyo Games, as well as high school baseball-related news in “TOKYO MX news FLAG” (Monday-Friday 20:00-20:30).

This summer, along with “Anthem,” send your passionate cheers to high school baseball players in Tokyo from in front of the TV!

[MACK JACK comment]
“Kobe’s four mics, all former baseball players MACK JACK.
Thank you for choosing our song “Anthem” as the cheering song for the East/West Tokyo Games. I’m so happy!

This song is a support song that pushes the back of all dreamers who have a dream.
With the powerful and magnificent performance of the female brass group MOS, it is a song that will make you feel the loud cheering at the stadium.
Let’s have strong feelings for Lyric, don’t forget to be grateful to our friends, and tear down the wall in front of us! That’s what I thought.

Dear baseball players,
Listen to this song, raise your VIBES, and go win all the games!
Make the most of your hard work and go on a rampage under the scorching sun! Never give up! ! ! ! ! ”

MACK JACK / Mitchell, Chai, Ali, Jagasy

◆MACK JACK
A reggae group based in Kobe, all former baseball players. MCL (Mitchell), ALI (Ali), and CHAI (Chai) are shocked by NANJAMAN and Shonan no Kaze, which they listened to in the dormitory of Kochi Chuo High School’s hardball baseball club. In the final summer of his third year of high school, he gradually fell in love with reggae music and was defeated by Meitoku Gijuku High School, ending his dream of participating in Koshien. After graduating, he returned to his hometown, and in 2012 MCL and ALI formed MACK JACK in Kobe. Later, classmate CHAI and childhood friend JAGA-C (Jagashi) joined and became the current four microphones. In 2014, he went to Jamaica to experience authentic reggae music, which became his current style.
After that, he met producer YANAGIMAN, who has worked on Ketsumeishi, Funky Monkey Babies, etc., and continued his musical training. I swung the bat until I died in order to play in Koshien, but I changed it to a microphone, and continued to sing in order to seize my dream this time. The group name comes from the metal bat MAC JACK made by Rawlings, which the leader MCL used habitually in high school.
