In the women’s doubles, the world No. 2 Lee So-hee and Baek Ha-na pair beat the world No. 24 Chloe Birch and Lauren Smith pair (England) 2-1 (21-10 18-21 21-17).

World No. 6 Kim Hye-jeong and Jung Na-eun defeated world No. 21 Vivian Hu-Lim Chiu-hsien (Malaysia) 2-1 (21-10 16-21 21-19).

World No. 7 Kim So-young and Gong Hee-yong defeated the world No. 29 Ranitria Mayasari-Lipka Sugiarto (Indonesia) 2-0 (21-18 21-9).

The world number 44 Shin Seung-chan and Lee Yu-rim group beat the world number 19 Hirokami Rui-Kato Yuna group (Japan) 2-0 (21-10 21-17).

In the quarterfinals, Kim So-young and Gong Hee-yong and Shin Seung-chan and Lee Yu-rim will face each other.
