NEW in the program at KSV 70/86 e. V.: Meditation, Tai Chi and self-defence

The Kettwig sports club 70/86 eV is expanding its range of sports. With Thomas Lindackers and Tim Kollbach, two new trainers could be won, whose courses are now open for registration.

Tai Chi and self-defense for children and teenagers

Thomas Lindackers has dedicated himself to Asian martial arts and the art of self-defense. Nine years of judo, which also taught him the ability to fall correctly in everyday situations, was followed by 12 years of training experience in the martial arts of Wing Tsun. As a certified trainer, he would like to pass on the skills he has learned in the form of a self-defence course for children and young people. Body language, body control and the right behavior in dangerous situations in everyday life are the focus for the children. In the youth field, it’s about de-escalation and violence prevention through personal exhaustion during training. You can find more about Thomas and the courses he offers at binom.net/wushu. Interested parties are welcome to send an e-mail to [email protected] with the subject “martial arts”.

Meditation courses for all ages

Our new trainer Tim Kollbach is a state-certified relaxation trainer. His focus is on autogenic training and progressive muscle relaxation according to Jacobson: the most widespread relaxation methods in Germany. With his course program, Tim would like to offer adults and children relaxation techniques and mediate adapted meditation exercises in order to harmonize body, mind and soul. Especially in today’s fast-paced world, it makes sense to offer self-help exercises that can be used daily and have a positive effect on the body. Three groups are planned according to age groups, each lasting 60 minutes, always on Thursdays between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Interested parties are welcome to send an e-mail with the subject “Meditation” to [email protected] or directly to the trainer at [email protected].
