Double blow for the member of the Madinina Bikers who wins the stage and the Fred Culé Memorial which was disputed over two days (Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 June 2023) at Robert. The day before, it was Christopher Hippolyte, Team Energizer who had been the fastest during the inaugural time trial.

At the end of the two days of racing, Laurent Néror wins the Fred Culé Memorial. During this last stage, the Madinina Bikers rider fought a battle with Emile Démazy (CCV) over several kilometres. It was he who won on the finish line, in front of the Team Fewoss Crédit Mutuel Garage Premier headquarters at Le Robert.

I thank Emile for accompanying me throughout the race. I heard the public insulting me, but I didn’t attack them in the hill. I continued my effort. I whipped today. I doubted, but I told myself no, I worked too much for it and I have to go all out.
