In the semifinals, the Devils won against the Flyers from Therwil, mainly thanks to a great pitcher performance. In the final against the Dragons from Geneva, a few mistakes happened in the 1st inning, which the Dragons skillfully exploited and so they took the lead early on.
Despite a solid team performance from the 2nd inning, they were unable to make up the gap. In the end, the Dragons won and Wiler took silver ahead of Therwil Flyers and Rümlang Kobras.
It was a wonderful baseball day, during which all four teams showed how much the quality of play had improved throughout Switzerland in the last few years and how exciting such a baseball game can be.
