Castellón stays with Málaga CF in the First RFEF

The goalless draw in Castellón in the first leg left everything to be decided in the second leg and the pottery fans filled Santo Domingo for the Madrid stadium to show off their best clothes in the decisive duel. The hostile environment did not intimidate the team from Castellón, who took the lead after thirteen minutes after an individual move by Koné on the left wing, who put a cross to the far post that De León caught and whose shot bounced off the legs of Jesús de Miguel, that finished off to goal to empty door.

The goal did not discourage Alcorcón, who took control of the game and began to gain meters over the rival area, being able to equalize just before the break after a lateral cross from the right side that Granero took just before Bustos finished off the goal.

The rest was good for Alcorcón, who came out with one gear more than Castellón, whom they equaled on the scoreboard after 56 minutes with a powerful shot from the front of Addai who surpassed Alfonso Pastor.

Just six minutes later, Alcorcón turned the score around with a header from Javi Castro, after a cross from Javi Lara, that brought delirium to the stands of Santo Domingo.

Until the end, Alcorcón sought to score the third rather than put up with the result, although it did not have excessive dangerous occasions, and Castellón, more aware of the clock than of making playshe proved incapable of creating trouble for the potter’s defense and ended up playing without a goalkeeper after the expulsion of Alfonso Pastor in added time.
