5 years ago, Venezuelan children were benefited by a huge gesture from Rafael Nadal, after the Spanish tennis player teamed up with a Venezuelan foundation called “All United In Victoria Foundation”to raise funds for medicines.

The Spaniard, along with his work team, sent a sports bag signed by him to be auctioned. The foundation, which is in charge of helping children with cancer diagnoses, benefited from the money obtained from the auction of this bag.

This news was announced at the time by the Venezuelan journalist Luis Alfredo Álvarez, from the ESPN network, who has been battling cancer since 2022and who also shares a good relationship with Nadal, who sent him a message of support when he found out about the disease the journalist is going through.
