Serial champions Hypo Niederösterreich and WAT Atzgersdorf reached the final of the women’s handball league WHA on Thursday. The series champion beat MGA Fivers Vienna in the second leg of the semi-finals 29:16 (14:8) and rose confidently after the 30:17 win in the first leg.
Atzgersdorf also won both games against SC Ferlach/Feldkirchen. A 27:24 home win was followed by a 35:22 (17:11) in the second leg. The first final game in “Best of three” mode takes place on Sunday in Südstadt.
