VIRTUS IN FAENZA – BOLOGNABASKETBALL

Virtus Segafredo Bolognathis afternoon he visited Faenza at Parco Mita to offer support and closeness in a difficult moment.
To represent the colors of Virtus, Daniel Hackett, Alessandra Orsili, Francesca Pasa and some coaches from the youth sector (Sebastiano Pedrazzani, Davide Moro, Andrea Mazzarini and Chiara Renda). Also present was the general manager of the Black Vs Paolo Ronci.
During the afternoon, many photos and autographs were requested by the young people from Faenza, playing together and spending a few hours in their company, with the aim of bringing serenity and happiness.

These are the words of General Manager Paolo Ronci: “As a resident of Faenza I experienced this flood firsthand. Today we came with Daniel Hackett, Francesca Pasa and Alessandra Orsili, together with the youth sector. We are extremely happy to be here at the invitation of civil protection psychologists to offer a few moments of happiness and light-heartedness for these kids.
As a club and property we are always very attentive to social initiatives because Virtus Segafredo Bologna represents the expression of the city and the territory, especially in situations of this kind, so we are extremely proud to bring our players and coaches.
The initiative was born in collaboration with the psychologists of the civil protection and the mayor of Faenza, Massimo Isola, and we were delighted to take part in this project, accepting this invitation to bring a few hours of light-heartedness and joy to these kids, with our contribution: our will was to bring a positive thought after the events of these days.
The region is our partner so we will try to do everything possible in the future too, thanks to the work done with the governor Stefano Bonacciniso everything that Virtus Segafredo will be able to do will be done: on Sunday, for example, on the occasion of Game 1 of the semifinal against Tortona we will have a shirt made in collaboration with Emilia Romagna e Macronthe proceeds of which will be used to support these areas.”

Virtus Segafredo Bologna has undertaken several initiatives in favor of the affected people such as the possibility of buying the T-shirt in collaboration with Macron and Emilia Romagna, which can be purchased in the arena as well as part of the proceeds from Race 1 against Faenza will be used to support the areas affected by the flood.
