The former striker and current senator, Romário, made his candidacy for the presidency of América Football Club official, last Friday (13th), when he registered his ticket “América Livre”.
On social networks, the former player announced that, in November, he will run for the club’s presidential elections, the team of his father’s heart, Seu Edevair, who died in 2008.
The parliamentarian held the position of football manager at the club in 2009.
