Medieval days in Rochebrune

Neuveglise-sur-Truyere. Medieval days at the Château de Rochebrune. Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 June, the Château de Rochebrune, located between Neuveglise and Pierrefort, will live in medieval times. The 12th century fortress ^e century welcomes its 1 ^re edition of the “Lords of Rochebrune”.

This cultural and historical event organized by the festival committee of Oradour will offer, in addition to the visit of the castle, young and old alike the opportunity to attend numerous activities with the participation of several troupes and companies.

On the program: stories told of battles; conference on the Order of the Temple; presentation of medieval science (astronomy, medicine, etc.), 13th century weaponry ^e century, of the art of siege; evocation of camp life through sketches; crossbow and archery shooting range, introduction for children to medieval military maneuvers and music from the XII ^e and 13 ^e century. A bar with catering will also be available on site.
