Judo camp: WJV youth camp 2023 – Lauffen

From April 29th to May 1st, the WJV youth camp (Württembergischer Judo-Verband e. V.) took place for the first time in this format. It was aimed at children and young people between the ages of twelve and 17. The training took place in the Hölderlin sports hall of the Budo-Club Hikari e. V. Lauffen instead. The youth center Michaelsberg in Cleebronn next to the Tripsdril amusement park offered an atmospheric location for the overnight stay. The group was a colorful mix of girls and boys as well as recreational, competitive and competitive athletes from 18 different clubs in Baden-Württemberg.
The children and young people experienced a varied range of sports with judo acrobatics, judo shows, self-defence, Quidditch, jugger, gotcha and dogeball. In addition to outdoor games such as color catching, there was also enough time to play freely and get to know other children. A highlight was the trip to the Heilbronn Experimenta. The group can now look forward to repeating it during the 2024 Pentecost holidays.
