In the first leg of the semi-finals of the Conference League, FC Basel secured a 2-1 (0-1) win at Fiorentina with goals from Andy Diouf (71′) and Zeki Amdouni (90’+2′).
The Italians had taken the lead through former Basel player Arthur Cabral (25th).
West Ham turns the game
In London, West Ham United turned a 1-0 half-time deficit into a 2-1 win over AZ Alkmaar thanks to a second-half improvement. Tijjani Reijnders (41st) put the Dutch in front. Said Benrahma (67th) with a penalty kick and Michail Antonio (76th) ensured the success of the Premier League CKubs. The winners of next Thursday’s second leg will meet in the final in Prague on June 7th.
