The Hwaseong City Council attended the 4th Hwaseong City Long-term Badminton Competition held at Hwaseong Sports Complex on the 30th and encouraged the participating players.

On this day, Hwaseong City Council Chairman Kim Gyeong-hee, Vice Chairman Oh Mun-seop, Assembly Steering Committee Chairman Yoo Jae-ho, Education and Welfare Chairman Lee Hae-nam, Vice Chairman of the Economic and Environment Committee Wi Young-ran, Gong Young-ae, Kim Young-soo, Bae Hyun-gyeong, Song Seon-yeong, Lee Gye-cheol, Lee Yong-woon, and other members of the National Assembly and provincial councilors, About 800 people attended, including officials from the Hwaseong City Badminton Association and participating players.

Chairman Kim Kyung-hee said in his speech, “As the saying goes, ‘Victory goes to the most persistent,’ the Hwaseong City Council supports the passion of the badminton club.” This is the most important thing,” he said, “there was a lot of effort by the city council members for the upcoming opening of the Dongtan badminton court, including budget deliberation and location selection for the long-term badminton competition in Hwaseong.”

On the other hand, the 4th Hwaseong City Long-Term Badminton Tournament was hosted and supervised by the Hwaseong City Badminton Association, and 510 teams and 800 people participated in the preliminary round on April 29th.

The Hwaseong City Badminton Association consists of 56 clubs and is operated with a total of 3,132 members.
