Singer Lucie Vondráčková doesn’t talk much about her private life, so even her relationship with MMA fighter Zdenek Polívka was a secret for a long time. As time progressed, however, the couple opened up to the public. Polívka has now revealed what his partner is worried about.

The fighter admitted that it is precisely the sport he is engaged in. “It’s not entirely pleasant for her to watch it, but it’s probably the same for every woman who has the bully in the cage and likes him,” said the athlete for Super.cz magazine. But he also added that his partner does not betray him in any way from his life path. “On the other hand, she is very proud. She likes the fighting spirit in me, which I have not only in sports, but in general in life. As I say, the sport does not make me, but I make it,” she says decisively.

In addition to matches in the ring, Polívka had to face other challenges in his life. He experienced bullying as a child, and that is the reason why he goes to discuss this topic with pupils in schools all over the country. “I was introverted, slower and had a certain feminine side in me. But then it gradually escalated and now I’m here. If I went back to the time when I was a little boy, I would never have believed that I would be here one day to the students in my then age to tell his story. Even if he helps one person, I consider it a success,” said Polívka.
