A del tweet Real Valladolid Baloncestoapparently harmless, caused a stir this Friday by inadvertently revealing the double love life of one of its players, the ex-breoganista Sergio de la Fuente.
In the publication, which has since been deleted, the Pucelano club congratulated De la Fuente and his partner on their recent paternity with the following text: “Welcome to the world, Charlotte! And congratulations to Laura and Sergio for this great news! One more squirrel in the family!” The message was also accompanied by images of the happy parents with the newborn on the Valladolid track.
What seemed like a simple celebration of an idyllic moment like this for Sergio and Laura went awry just a few hours later with the arrival on the scene of alicia diezex-basketball player’s wife Fernando San Emeteriowho responded to the publication of Valladolid with a bombshell: “Come on, what a surprise. If this boy he was my sister’s boyfriend until yesterday. They had been three years. Hey, well, nothing, that he is very happy and that polyamory lives,” the woman wrote.
According to this version, Sergio de la Fuente would have maintained two relationships simultaneously during these years, something that was corroborated by San Emeterio himself when he answered with a concise “attest” to the message from his wife.
Faced with the avalanche of reactions caused by this curious story, the Valladolid account decided to delete the original publication, although the subject continued to raise eyebrows on Twitter.

“>Breogán River knows the vertex of this love triangle well, since De la Fuente wore the light blue color in the season 2009/2010, in which the team from Lugo lost in the playoffs for promotion to ACB against Menorca. After that campaign, and after a brief one-year stint at Juaristi ISB, the power forward from Vitoria returned to the club of his life, Valladolid, with which he is celebrating his eleventh season – spread over two stages –.
However, if Sergio de la Fuente is famous for something in Lugo, it is for the clashes that he has been maintaining in recent years with the fans of Breogán and with some of his players.
The high point of this rivalry occurred in the semifinal of the playoffs for promotion to ACB between the sky-blue team and Valladolid in 2015. During the series, which ended up being won by Breogán who would end up losing in the final against Ourense, produced numerous frictions between De la Fuente and the team from Lugo. The most serious of them had as a victim Alex Llorcawho suffered a hyoid fracture –located in the front part of the neck– after receiving a blow from the Valladolid player in the first match of the tie.
But it does not stop there. In the second match of the series, De la Fuente once again sent another breoganista to the infirmary, in this case Alex Lopezby causing the fissure of the proper bones of the nose with a strong nudge.
