The unlikely conversion of a former Real Madrid player

“My whole family has always been dedicated to health care. My Aunt Helen is a nurse. My mother and my aunt work in care. A few years ago I was already thinking why not do a training course myself and or take lessons to see what it brings me. (…) I see another facet of the world. It helps me to be a better person in this society. I’ve always been used to glamor in football. But this job is what I was looking for.” Drenthe is a happy man in the service of others.
