Orleans. Carolina Marín easily beats Christophersen and advances to the round of 16

The Spanish Carolina Marínfirst favourite, defeated with relative ease to the danish line Christophersenby 21-9 and 21-18, and advanced to the eighth final of the Masters of Orléans (France).

Carolina Marín, who had beaten the Danish in the four previous clashes between the two, also all of them with a clear 2-0, overwhelmed in the first set to her rival, who came to be ahead with 5-4, but who saw how the Spanish with eight consecutive points already escaped with a clear 12-5. She controlled and took the sleeve clearly.

The second set was tighter and even the 24-year-old Dane was ahead 6-3. She again pressed the Spanish, who took the next six points, to take the lead with a 9-6.

The score, controlled by Carolina Marín, remained relatively balanced (12-12, 17-13, 19-18), until the Spaniard reconnected her tight hits to close with a 21-18 that gives her the pass to the round of 16 in which she will face the Turkish Neslihan Yigit who defeated the Indian Saina Nehwal in two sets (16-21 and 14-21).
