Team SD Worx has dominated the spring so far, but the Dutch formation has never managed to win Paris-Roubaix. Lotte Kopecky wants to change that.
This year Kopecky already won the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, Nokere Koerse and the Ronde van Vlaanderen. “I had ticked Paris-Roubaix beforehand. My spring can’t go wrong, but that doesn’t make me less motivated to triumph on the Roubaix track.”
“Although I am a lot less nervous than before. I have been relaxed all season. I somehow feel less pressure on my shoulders. In addition, as a team we can shoot arrows in a match without worry. We know that there are there are always other riders ready to take over.”
“I hope I can live up to the Tour of Flanders/Paris-Roubaix double, but it will be far from easy. The bad luck factor plays a part anyway and I expect strong opposition from Trek-Segafredo. If I don’t win I will definitely be disappointed Unless someone else from Team SD Worx takes the boulder home.”
