Manchester United clinched an important 2-0 win at Nottingham Forest to move up to third in the Premier League table on Sunday (16/4), but Jadon Sancho’s contribution down the left flank was minimal.
The 23-year-old has failed to live up to his £73 million price tag since joining Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund in 2021, and produced another disappointing showing at the City Ground.
Sancho looks far from the player who lit up the Bundesliga in Dortmund and appears to be suffering from a crisis of confidence, but should Manchester United have given up on the winger?
It’s hard to see him fulfilling his potential at Old Trafford right now, and Manchester United may be wise to sell him before his value plummets.
