Only Buta is active, Trapp looks frustrated and Borré remains invisible. The Eintracht players in the individual review.

Good at it

No entry

Quite ok

Aurelius Buta: One of the few assets on this dull Saturday afternoon. A lot went over his side, he dared to do something. It was no coincidence that he prepared the opening goal (25th), agile and courageous. Of course, like everyone else, it dismantled in the second section. Had to get out with cramps shortly before the end.

Mario Götze: Shaped the first few minutes, was always on the ball. Sprayed joy of playing, at least tried to get the flywheel going. He, too, disappeared as the playing time increased. Didn’t have a single shot on goal. In the end even center forward.

Kevin Trapp: Had to hold exactly one – harmless – shot, otherwise unemployed, even back passes were rare. Powerless when Demirovic conceded a beautiful goal to make it 1-1 (65th). Asked afterwards on the microphone during the analysis, I had a lot more work to do.

Rode plays 90 minutes

So-so

Sebastian Rode: Played 90 minutes, which should have been a hint for the cup game, because it’s probably not the first choice. Tried hard as always, slammed in, but lacked the clarity, the structure. He made a surprising number of bad passes and was infected by the general uncertainty.

Makoto Hasebe: Standing too far away from the shooter when conceding a goal, that wasn’t so good. Otherwise he did routine work without giving the game a decisive twist.

Total: Mixed performance with an outstanding action immediately before the break: saved with a sensational sliding tackle against Beljo. Otherwise try not to make any mistakes.

Kamada first strong, then pale

Daichi Kamada: Started really strong, wanted the ball, wanted to make a difference. He looked fresh and ready to play. Then he failed a few things and he sank completely into the sinking, an accidental shot on goal. Soon dropped his head.

Paxten Aaronson: Came into a broken game with 25 minutes to go from a side who are mentally drained. Tried a few things, sometimes his ability flashed.

weakening

Ansgar Knauff: Came into the team at very short notice for the stomach-sick Sow. Didn’t know how to take his chance. Frequently got bogged down, unhappy in his actions. But at least shot twice at the Augsburg goal, it was never dangerous. Still far from normal.

Ebimbe gives away the greatest opportunity for harmony

Eric Dina Stories: Had to play in central midfield this time, with a special focus on defence. Did that very reluctantly at first, didn’t want to risk too much, so couldn’t get the game going. Missed the greatest (and only) chance to win (71st), shot over the goal. not a factor.

Christopher Lenz: Well, central defender is not his position. Was very difficult again. Trouble in the duels, without a reasonable structure, simply thumped many balls forward, and it is better to keep the cloak of silence about your standards.

Muani replacement Borré seems overwhelmed

Rafael Borré: Lost in attack. Absolutely overwhelmed, without commitment, hardly playable. Had two chances that Randal Kolo Muani would certainly have used to score. But only got balls at head height. And when he went through and shot into the goal, he was previously offside. Dedication alone is simply not enough. The question is: Why is he allowed to fall again and again?
