Alex Erler and Lucas Miedler just missed their fourth joint title win on the ATP tour. The duo failed in the final of the ATP 250 event in Marrakech 4: 6, 6: 3 and 10:12 Demoliners/Vavassori.

For the time being, nothing came of the fourth joint title win for Alex Erler and Lucas Miedler: The Austrian top duo just failed at the ATP 250 event in Marrakech and had to take a 10: 9 lead in the decisive champions tie-break instead a third set is played, beaten 10:12. The title went to the Brazilian-Italian duo Demoliner/Vavassori.

For Erler and Miedler it was the second final in 2023 after the surprise triumph at the ATP 500 event in Acapulco. The duo had previously won the title in Vienna (2022) and Kitzbühel (2021). Both Alex Erler as the new world number 40. as well as Lucas Miedler as 42nd are at a new career high.
