Adi Hütter is keen on a new coaching job: “I’m really hungry”

Adi Hütter is ready for a new task!

The 53-year-old had hinted a few times recently that he was ready for a new coaching job (Adi Hütter explains his dream goal >>>). Compared to “Sky” he now renewed this message.

He feels well recovered and ready to take over again soon in a top league: “I made the time-out conscious and retired once to calm down. But now I have the feeling that I want to coach a team again and I’m really hungry to work with a team.”

And of course that should happen as quickly as possible. “Of course, if possible, I would like to train a team again from the summer. I think you always have to set goals.”

Hütter: “I’ve always set myself big goals”

The last few years, when he was employed almost continuously from 2015 to 2022 (Young Boys, Frankfurt, Gladbach), would have taken a lot of strength. “You need an incredible amount of energy. At some point you realize that you’re losing some energy. You never have the time to reflect and recover,” reflects the Vorarlberger.

Most recently, Hütter has been repeatedly associated with open coaching positions in the Premier League. The island would also be a destination that the 53-year-old could very well become friends with: “There will be a market and I’ve always had big goals for myself. The Premier League would be a big goal, but I also know how difficult it is is to get a club there.”

However, it would be the wrong approach to focus too much on a commitment in the Premier League, says Hütter: “You can’t just fixate on one league, you have to be open.”
