“The 7th Free Research in Baseball! Contest” Award Ceremony was held!
At the Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum on March 4, 2023, the awards ceremony for the “7th Free Research in Baseball! Contest” (sponsored by the Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, supported by the Nippon Professional Baseball Organization and NPB Enterprises) will be held. was held.
After Mr. Shoji’s opening remarks, Chief Judge Masatake Yamanaka (2016 Baseball Hall of Famer) gave his impression of the entries and a message to the winners.
The awardees received a certificate of commendation from Director Shoji and a supplementary prize from Mr. Yamanaka. The grand prize winner, Mr. Haruto Matsuda, received a ball signed by Hideki Kuriyama, manager of SAMURAI JAPAN, and the other 7 players received autographed colored paper.

“The 7th Baseball Free Study! Contest”
During the period from August 1st (Monday) to November 30th (Wednesday), 2022, we solicited free research works on the theme of baseball, and received 193 entries. Judged by four judges: Shotake Yamanaka (16th year inductee, All Japan Baseball Association Chairman), Junko Tahara (Professor, Kokushikan University), Minoru Hirata (Nippon Professional Baseball Organization Baseball Promotion Office Manager), Masanobu Shoji It was held, and 7 works were awarded.
It will be held in 2023 as well! We will wait for the application of everybody!
