STPS launches campaign to avoid union simulations in the construction industry – El Sol de México

The Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare (STPS) llaunched an information campaign to expose illegal practices of union simulation in the construction industry among society.

Se seeks to avoid the precariousness of the working conditions of workers as well as illegal practices to condition the continuity of a work.

The first stage began with a video that can be found where the owner of the STPS, Luisa María Alcalde Luján explains that the practice of placing banners or advertisements on the facades of construction sites, to win the representation of workers is an activity prohibited by the new labor reality.

The Labor Reform of 2019, established in Article 369 of the Federal Labor Lawthat this type of practice is illegal, since it violates the freedom of workers and limits their ability to choose their union representatives or to belong or not to a union.

To eradicate this type of illegal activities, it puts at the service of citizens the email buzó[email protected] to receive complaints and take the appropriate measures.
