During the second day of the men’s promotion interclub championships, the Tennis Club le Briolet team performed well on the grounds of the Tennis Club Saint-Georges in Narbonne. With a heavily overhauled team, the local players won their bet by snatching a good 3-3 draw. Arnaud Larregain and Nicolas Cahorel, the club monitor, each brought home a victory. The doubles were split, with each team winning one game.
It should also be noted the fine performance of Lois Denoy and Hugo Plantié, who were not unworthy, having a lot to face players of a completely different level.
On the Padel side, the animation-competition “The challenges of Briolet” comes to an end after more than two months of confrontation which saw nearly 80 challenges organized between the participating teams, all in a friendly atmosphere. The leaders rewarded the best in the women’s doubles, mixed doubles and men’s doubles categories, with special thanks to Benoît Launay, referee and project manager for this event.
