The last meetings have led to great successes for the members.
After several weeks of preparation, the volunteers of the Compagnie des archers des Albères mobilized to organize the 2023 edition of the nature shooting competition at Mas del Ca. A first session brought together 21 young people to participate in a challenge on a course of 10 targets unknown distances, without classification, in leisure/discovery.
The second session took place the next day. 46 archers came from the four corners of France to compete on the shooting ranges of the 21 targets of unknown distances. If some did it for the distinction of the day, that is to say the title of departmental champion 2023, where only the archers of the clubs of the department compete, others were present for the title of the national classification French Federation of shooting nature shooting bow (FFTA).
Good results
As for the departmental indoor shooting championship at 18m, the members of the Compagnie des archers des Albères did more than make up the numbers. In senior lady barebow, Valérie Petraud, who had been departmental vice-champion in indoor shooting at 18m last January, renewed her performance by finishing departmental vice-champion.
In senior 2 man bow hunting, Arnaud Doisy is crowned departmental champion, and Brice Cassagne vice-departmental champion.
In Senior 3 men’s bow hunting, Didier Nicou is crowned departmental champion, and Devy Pascal is on the 3rd step of the podium.
The Saturday April 22the Compagnie des archers des Albères will organize the young outdoor archery challenge at Mas del Ca and is already thinking about next year for the 2024 edition nature shooting competition.
