Fitness and nutrition: How to strengthen your immune system

Ssniffles, coughs, sneezes, fever – in the past few months, many Germans have caught one cold after the other. Contact restrictions during the pandemic and the constant wearing of the mask have meant that our body has not been confronted with viruses and bacteria for a long time and has now received the concentrated load.

A weakened immune system is of course also more susceptible to really dangerous viruses such as SARS-CoV-2.

This article is therefore about exercises and foods that strengthen the immune system in the long term. At the start of a new year, you can do something to ensure that your body can fight off pathogens better and faster and that colds ideally bounce off it completely.
