Bayern dismisses Nagelsmann and hires Tuchel

Munich. Bayern Munich signed Thomas Tuchel as their new manager yesterday to replace Julian Nagelsmann ahead of a game that could decide the Bundesliga champion. Bayern chief executive Oliver Kahn said the club was not showing its full potential under Nagelsmann. Tuchel will start training with the Bavarian team on Monday and signed a contract until the end of the 2024-25 season. His first duel will be the classic against Borussia Dortmund on April 1st. The decision came after the squad lost 2-1 to Bayer Leverkusen in the German league on Sunday and dropped to second place.
