The Rostock Seawolves lost their 25th game of the current basketball Bundesliga season against the Würzburg Baskets. Coach Christian Held’s team narrowly lost to the Baskets in the Stadthalle with 72:76 (38:36) and suffered their 13th defeat of the season. The Seawolves initially got into the game better and with a 20:13 lead from the first quarter. Rostock were even able to extend their lead to 31:15 before the guests from Würzburg found their way back into the game and reduced their deficit to two points by half-time. After the change of sides, the Baskets took the lead with a 10-0 series and were able to hold it until the end of the game.
