Victorian Basketball Association relaunched with home run

A group of basketball lovers led by Álex Sepúlveda Torres (president), Willy Topp (secretary), Víctor Flores (treasurer) and Edgar Ulloa Pérez (director) relaunched the Victorian Basketball Association with the realization, today Saturday, February 18, of starting at 9:30 in the morning in Gym No. 1, of a basketball home run.

The information was released by Edgar Ulloa Pérez, who specified that the teams CB Lautaro, CB Traiguén, CD AB Temuco and the Victorian Basketball Association will participate in the activity, the latter made up of players from different local teams such as Águilas, Traiguén Bajo and Pepali Valenzuela who, according to the new director of the association, welcome the relaunch.

In the same way, he explained that the entrance to the home run is completely free, they are only asking to bring non-perishable food and cleaning supplies to favor all the companies of the Victoria Fire Department.

When asked about the motivation to resume this Association, which ceased to function in 2017 and which already has legal personality, Edgar Ulloa indicated that the idea is to once again promote the practice of basketball in the commune and bring together the existing teams in the territory under a single forward to organize an official selection of Victoria, so they opened their training sessions to children, youth and adults from all teams, to strengthen their preparation.

Finally, he explained that they are organizing an urban championship to summon young people who play on the different courts, but who do not belong to any team.
